Have a look at some of our advice

1.  Always know where your main stopcock is in case of an emergency.
2.  Turn your stopcock once a month to avoid it seizing up.
3.  If you notice a damp patch, draw round it with a pencil, then you will be able to see if it gets worse.
4.  Never use Sink Unblocker if you have a blocked sink, it can make it worse (check out our video below!) It is much more enviromentally friendly to use a plunger!
5. When you go to bed, don’t turn your heating off, but turn down to 17, especially in a cold spell.
